Nya, an English Cream Golden Retriever, enjoys helping people who are struggling by filling their sadness with joy and love. Nya can be seen throwing all 82 pounds of herself onto someone’s lap, just loving them until they have forgotten about their worries. Nya enthusiastically goes about her days no matter what ups and downs life brings; With Nya’s endless love, enthusiasm, and unconditional faithfulness, she brings peace to the most stressful situations.

In her down time, Nya enjoys sleeping, searching for the best pup cup in town, finding the biggest mud puddles to roll around in and making new friends wherever life takes her.

Joel is licensed as a private investigator in Oregon and Tennessee. Joel started his career in 1987 serving as a Military Police Officer and Military Police Investigator. After ending his military tour of duty, Joel became a civilian Police Officer and Deputy Sheriff. Joel took his strong background in Hostage Negotiations, Mediation and Conflict Resolution, with him to patrol some of the highest crime areas in SE Portland. Joel was awarded Deputy of the Year for his efforts and for drastically reducing the crime rate in the area he patrolled. As a Deputy Sheriff, Joel assisted in leading a Neighborhood Livability Program that was nationally recognized for having the most innovative and progressive approach to policing.

In 2018, Joel retired as a Deputy Sheriff and founded Hubhound Investigations. Joel played an integral role in Hubhound Investigations receiving an A+ Accredited Business rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Joel is a member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyer Association (OCDLA), National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), Professional Background Screeners Association (PBSA), Oregon Association of Licensed Investigators (OALI) and Florida Association of Licensed Investigators (FALI).

In his off time, Joel enjoys spending time with his wife, adult children and Hubhound’s Happiness Ambassador, Nya. Joel also enjoys Scuba Diving and Kayaking.

Since obtaining her private investigator license in January 2022, Kristen has been committed to delivering thorough, discreet, and ethical investigative services to individuals, businesses, and legal professionals throughout the region.

Driven by a strong desire to help others, Kristen approaches each case with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. Kristen’s passion for serving people is at the heart of her work. Outside of her professional role, Kristen enjoys a balanced lifestyle. She is passionate about Pilates, cooking, fashion, traveling, and finds the most joy in the company of her three cats.

Lily is a bilingual (Vietnamese) licensed PI in multiple states (OR, TX) with a focus on Criminal Defense. Lily is a member of Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyer Association (OCDLA) and Oregon Association of Licensed Investigators (OALI). Lily is dedicated to helping others and she firmly believes everyone should be given a fair opportunity, despite their circumstances in life. Lily has a personable approach, is solution driven and strives to leave no stone unturned. During her down time, Lily loves spending time with family & friends, playing video games, snowboarding and exploring the food scenes, especially tacos.

Daniela Lopez is a bilingual (Spanish) private investigator dedicated to assisting the Hispanic community with a range of investigative services. Daniela is a highly self-driven investigator with a passion for uncovering the truth. Beyond her professional life, Daniela is a devoted wife and mother of two boys. When she’s not working, Daniela enjoys traveling with her family and spending summer days boating at the lake

Sergio is a bilingual private investigator with a passion for uncovering the truth and helping people. Born and raised in Oregon, he left home at 18 to serve in the U.S. Army, an experience that shaped his discipline and drive. After completing his service, Sergio explored various careers before finding his calling in investigative work. Now proud to be part of Hubhound’s dedicated team, Sergio enjoys working alongside attorneys and clients, building trust through professionalism and persistence.

Outside of work, Sergio stays active playing soccer, enjoys the thrill of scary movies, and spends time outdoors fishing and hiking. Family means everything to Sergio. Sergio values the balance between his personal and professional life. With a deep appreciation for his journey so far, Sergio looks forward to many more years of meaningful work in the field.

Xochitl is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others, especially within the Spanish-speaking community. As a bilingual investigator Xochitl has developed strong communication and analytical skills that allow her to connect with people and uncover important information to support their needs. Prior to becoming an investigator, Xochitl worked at a law office, where she gained valuable experience in legal procedures and client advocacy. Xochitl takes pride in using her language skills to help clients navigate complex situations with clarity and trust.

Sara is a bilingual Spanish speaking investigator that provides translation support for Spanish-speaking clients, helping ensure that every voice is heard. Sara brings a thoughtful and thorough approach to her work. Sara prioritizes accuracy, legal compliance, and empathy; always striving to see each case through all points of views to better understand the situation and needs. Sara holds an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree and is currently pursuing her education full-time at Western Oregon University. Born and raised in Oregon, Sara is committed to serving her community with professionalism and integrity.

Brandon is a seasoned private investigator whose passion for the outdoors is matched only by his commitment to uncovering the truth. With a hands-on background as a wildlan firefighter, EMT, and kayak instructor, Brandon thrives in high-pressure environments and brings a calm, focused presence to every case. Brandon’s grounded and adventurous spirit fuels a relentless pursuit of results, whether navigating remote wilderness or tracking leads through urban sprawl. Drawing from real-world experience and a deep respect for nature’s challenges, Brandon approaches each investigation with integrity, resilience, and a sharp eye for detail.

With over fifteen years of experience in senior account management, Nicole brings a unique blend of strategic insight and operational excellence to her role as Office Manager. Known for a people-first leadership style, Nicole has a proven track record of helping employees, contractors and vendors set and reach professional goals, while fostering a workplace culture that is rooted in support, accountability, and growth.

In her previous roles, Nicole managed hundreds of client portfolios, streamlined communication across several departments, and mentored teams to exceed performance targets. Now, as an Office Manager, Nicole draws on that experience to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while championing employee and contractor and development and engagement.

Slade is a redaction specialist who supports investigative operations by carefully reviewing and redacting sensitive content from body-worn camera footage and official documents. Slade ensures all materials are thoroughly examined and compliant with legal and privacy standards before public or internal release. With a strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality, Slade plays a vital role in protecting sensitive information. Slade’s background in fast-paced, high-responsibility roles has refined her ability to work with precision, discretion, and professionalism. Slade contributes meaningfully to the integrity and security of the company’s case-related materials.

Katrina is a Pacific Northwest native dedicated to public service with experience working in social services advocating for victims of violence, as well as with incarcerated youth in literacy programs. After a decade of honing her research skills working in public libraries, Katrina made the jump to OSINT specialist where her focus is assisting the investigators who are working on a variety of cases.
